// Exhibition on view DEC 9, 2017 – MAR 11, 2018
From her early education at a high school for the arts, to her collegiate studies at New York’s Cooper Union, and across seven decades of image making, Simon’s work has been characterized by experimentation and a deft use of technique and materials.
It was Simon’s boundless curiosity that led her to learn a new visual language – digital illustration – as an octogenarian, and our exhibition will showcase the artist’s diverse body of work including monoprint, assemblage, serigraph, aquatint, drypoint, ink, mixed media, and more. Featuring Simon’s earliest prints alongside her newest digital creations, “Quest” is an illustration of the artist’s relentless pursuit of her rich creative vision.
